CASH, EFTPOS (all major credit cards), HICAPS facilities (for private health insurance processing) are all accepted payments.
Please note: JUN CHIROPRACTIC does not have patient accounts and payment is due on the day.
The HICAPS system gives us the option to swipe your membership card, instantly transferring your rebate to us, so that you can just pay your gap on the day and you’re done. JUN CHIROPRACTIC accepts all private health insurance memberships that participate in the HICAPS system. These include:
Private Health Insurance
**If you have private health insurance that contributes to your chiropractic care, please be aware that ALL health funds have limits set on what they are willing to cover per person or policy. This contribution is not based on your need for care, it is just an arbitrary limit. A percentage of the chiropractic fee is claimable with the extra coverage from the private health insurance. The exact percentage of the rebate varies from insurance to insurance. Please check your cover with your private health insurance. It is your responsibility to make any relevant claims directly with your own health insurance.
Enhanced Primary Care (EPC)
JUN CHIROPRACTIC is also a provider for Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) programs where patients are referred by their General Practitioner for a program of chiropractic assessment and treatment.
The patient’s Medicare card is processed via HICAPS direct with Medicare.
If X-rays are required, patients are referred to the local diagnostic imaging centre where all services are bulk billed.
Missed/ Changed Appointment Policy
We understand that sometimes appointments need to be changed. Our policy is to waive all fees if you give us 24 hours notice of changing it. The normal fee applies if an appointment is changed or missed without 24 hours notice.
We implement this policy because often we have a waiting list and to be fair to all (Dr as well as other patients), if you cannot make it.....then let someone who can.
